SHORT TERM &
RESIDENTIAL ASSESSMENT

Homme is licensed to provide short-term programs targeting the treatment needs of youth that require behavioral stabilization coupled with intensive treatment. Homme offers a program of temporary residential care and treatment delivered to a client and their family whose placement is transitional and for the purpose of assessment, treatment, and planning for placement back into the community.

Throughout a youth's Short-Term Program, the youth and family will be involved in the following:

  • Utilization of Standardized Assessment Tools including recreation, nutritional, independent living, educational, and risk assessments.
  • Youth Outcome Questionnaire (YOQ.1)
  • Multi disciplinary approaches.
  • Collaborative involvement from families and professionals.
  • Group, Individual, and Family Therapy (as appropriate).
  • Milieu Treatment Interventions.

PROGRAM COMPONENTS

Depending on the needs of the family, Homme can provide follow-up services and aid in implementation of the assessment recommendations. Throughout the assessment, families and workers will be kept informed of progress via weekly contact.
