sexual perpetration, delinquency, victimization, alcohol or drug abuse,
cognitive-behavioral issues, self-harm, or dual diagnosis.
Admissions Criteria
In general, males and females between the
ages of 10 and 17 are eligible for placement with Homme. Each referral
is reviewed prior to scheduling a pre-placement interview. Homme is
committed to quality care and wish to be certain that the individual
is matched to the appropriate program. Homme has recently received a
dual-license CBRF and RCC allowing us to treat 18 year olds within an
Independent Living Program.
Placement Options
Homme has offered treatment-specific programming
since 1985 when it opened its first sex offender program. Programs are
now available for sexually acting out youth, abuse victims, fire-starters,
delinquent and substance abusing youth, including sexually reactive
behaviors.
Assessment
Homme will do 30-day assessments to determine
treatment needs, stabilize behaviors and assess risk as well as appropriate
intervention.
Short-term
Homme will collaborate with other agencies
to provide short-term care to youth that are placed. We have variable
programming to be used in conjunction with intensive aftercare.
Graduation
Homme continues to serve youth long-term.
These youths complete a multi-tiered level system which takes them from
assessment to relapse prevention through an objective-based program.
